Steven DUCHATELLE

Steven Duchatelle is Chief Executive Officer of the Advans Group, where he leads the group’s strategic and operational activities. He also sits on the board of several Advans’ subsidiaries.

Steven was part of the leadership team who created the Advans Group in 2005 and has been instrumental in the expansion of the Advans network, driving the creation and growth of new institutions in complex and dynamic markets in Africa and Asia. He started as Chief Investment Officer in 2006 before moving on to Chief Operations Officer in 2011 and CEO in 2017. Before joining Advans, Steven worked in financial services and consulting in France, Asia and Africa.

Steven also has extensive experience as a speaker at major international events such as the Africa Financial Services Investment Conference (AFSIC), the European Microfinance Week (EMW), high-profile panels organized by the French Development Agency (AFD) and more.
