Alaa EL ZOHEIRY

Mr. Alaa Has been in the Insurance Market for more than 33 Years.

He was appointed president of the Federation of the Afro Asian Insurance & Reinsurance in 2021 and now is the Vice Chairman. He holds several positions in various organisations including Chairman of the Insurance Federation of Egypt, Chairman of the insurance committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. Board member of Gulf Sigorta – Turkey, Vice Chairman of Egyptian – Life Takaful-GIG since 2011, and Board memeber of GIG – Jordan.

Mr. El Zoheiry was chosen the Best Insurance Man in Egypt 2014. He was “Personality of the Year” at the 2017 Middle East Insurance Industry Awards and was awarded “Professional of the Year” at 2021 MENA IR Awards and “BEST CEO In Africa” award by the African Insurance Organisation in 2022 and was announced to be “Reinsurance Proffessional of the Year 2024” awards in MENA IR in Dubai.

He holds a BA in business adminstration from Sadat Academy for Management Sciences.
