Abderrahim BOUAZZA

Mr. Abderrahim Bouazza has been the Director General of Bank Al-Maghrib since July 2015.

He joined Bank Al-Maghrib in 1980 within the Banking Supervision Department, which he later led from 2001 to 2013. During this time, he served as Vice-President of the Credit Institutions Committee, as a member of the Financial Stability Board, the Financial Services Council, and the Board of Directors of the Financial Markets Authority (2009-2013).

In 2014, he was appointed Advisor to the Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib, overseeing the Casablanca Financial Hub project. In 2015, he held the position of Director General of the Moroccan Deposit Guarantee Fund Management Company (SGFG).

Mr. Abderrahim Bouazza holds a degree in Economics.
