AFIS Woman Leader
The “AFIS Woman Leader Award” in partnership with Women Working For Change (WFC) highlights female leaders in the financial sector who are active in both the public and private spheres. Presented during the Africa Financial Industry Summit, the award recognizes the woman leader who has a significant impact through the excellence of her career, the scope of her responsibilities and her commitment to promoting financial inclusion.
Eligible candidates:
Woman leaders in private or public institutions.
Nominated by a third party (company of individual) or identified by the AFIS editorial team.
Criteria:
- Career excellence
- Operational leadership
- Influence in the financial community
- Achievements in financial inclusion.
Award ceremony:
The call for applications is open until October 11, 2023.
Pre-selected women will be notified one month prior to the event.
The winner will receive her trophy during a special session at the next Africa Financial Industry Summit, November 15-16, 2023 in Lome, Togo.
