Supervisory Council

AFIS governance is structured around a consultative and strategic body, called the “Supervisory Council,” which brings together around thirty CEOs from the largest African financial groups, Central Bank Governors, and regulators. The Supervisory Council formulates AFIS’s short- to medium-term strategic decisions, defines key themes for AFIS, and discusses recommendations and guidance from the “Steering Committee” and all AFIS members.
