To this end, AFIS stimulates dialogue between governments, regulators, and the leaders of the financial industry (banks, insurance companies, mobile money operators, fintech) in a continent whose growth potential is curtailed by a misdirection of available funds. The aim of AFIS is to build a robust financial industry to serve real economy and sustainable development.

Founded by Jeune Afrique Media Group and the AFRICA CEO FORUM, AFIS is actively committed to contributing to the success of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which should accelerate the integration and growth of Africa’s financial sector.

AFIS Annual Summit

The Africa Financial Summit (AFIS) brings together over 1000 leaders from the financial industry, including bankers, insurers, fintech representatives, capital markets, and mobile money operators, as well as policymakers and regulators from Africa and around the world.
